Eat More Plants.

Ridiculous sunset tonight! We were lying on the field waiting for the fireworks to start and I could not resist snapping this. So beautiful.
I was thinking about how people complain about hating their jobs. Does it really make you feel better to have a shitty attitude about it? Whatever it is you’re doing, I would think that it would make you feel better to have a good attitude. I mean I get it, I’ve been there for many, many years. The 9-5, working for a ball breaker boss. But life is short and if you’re going to spend the majority of your time complaining and whining, I’m pretty sure you’ll be looking back regretting something. If you’re hating your job then change it, or suck it up and find something about it to appreciate! There are plenty of people wishing they had a job. You’re on the right track if you’ve got one.
That being said I REALLY appreciate the luxury of being a stay at home mom. I love it. It’s no walk in the park though. More responsibility and more hours of work than any job I’ve ever had. And I’ve had plenty. It’s really rewarding. My main goal is to make sure my child is happy and healthy and all her needs are met. Besides day to day house duties and bookkeeping and accounting and tying up all the loose ends of my bf’s business. That’s why it gets under my skin when someone says, oh you’re so lucky that you have ______. Whatever it may be. It’s not luck, it’s hard fucking work. It’s not coincidence that people that work their asses off have nice things.
