So we just discovered this nest in my front yard lawn! For the past few days every time I walked by, I noticed this little bird flying away from the grass and up into a tree. I thought it was strange but never really looked around at the area the bird was resting on in the grass. So today my bf realized that there were four little eggs down there and I couldn’t believe it! I’ve seen the robins make nests in really strange places; one on top of a light fixture in the barn and one in a vibe in our secret garden patio. But this is definitely the strangest! I really hope no animals come and crush or eat the eggs, I’d love to see them hatch. My daughter said, “mommy I want to crack them and see what’s inside!”. I was like ummm lol no. It will be really amazing to see these little babies open up.
