Went down to Queens for a little early b-day celebration last Sunday. Did my usual bakery hopping and went to some fabric stores trying to find some lace trims for cut off shorts I’m making. Looking for blue stretchy lace and plain white lace. Didn’t think it was going to be such a task but I guess I’m going to have to stop being so picky about it.
I feel irritated by people who refuse to sacrifice in certain situations. If you really want something, you will make the necessary sacrifices in order for it to happen. Give up something, stop spending $$ on bullshit or just try a different approach. I guess it just means they really don’t want it if they can’t make the sacrifice. Oh well! Not my problem. Just a pet peeve of mine.
I want to try and make rainbow cookies sometime soon. It seems daunting but I would love to try at least once. One of my favorite pastries!
