I’m a Vermonter born & raised! However, I’m currently living in RI, but my hometown is the second to last exit before Canada!
Oh wow!! I’ve been planning to go up to Canada for a while. Too busy here to take a vacay but I really need to do it. My brother just graduated from RISD, it’s beautiful there.
You’re probably one of the first food blogs I ever started to religiously follow, so I chose you as one of my blog picks for the Sunshine Award!
I featured you in my Sunshine Award as one of my favorite blogs to follow π http://katroserichards.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/sunshine-award/
Keep the beautiful recipes coming!
Hello Celine! I just wanted to say that I love the pics that you post on Instagram. Your recipes and ideas are fresh and awesome! It seems that your header is broken at the moment, The image is not displaying. Have a lovely week-end! Helene from ensalades.com π
I just found your blog and everything looks delicious! Happy find π
Hi Celine. I love the recipes… and the pics. I pinned your Rainbow salad to my Pinterest boards. Two things that may help you, from my tech and social toolboxes: Your amazing stuff will get found on search engines more if you name your pics according to what they are: instead of “image10912.jpg” try “rawvegancarrotcake.jpg” also make sure you put the same keyword rich data in the alt txt” section for the pic and put a full description of what’s there. Google can’t see your perty pictures, but it can read Meta information. Also – WordPress has some great Plugins that make social sharing a breeze. “Share and Follow” not only puts sharing buttons for whatever networks you choose right on your posts, it also allows you to put a “share on Pinterest” button in the corner of your pics, making it even easier for people to promote your stuff.
To life!

Thank you Don!! I didn’t know about renaming the pictures; I’ll work on that ASAP. Also the Pinterest is a good idea because I know a lot of people are linked to my blog from there. π
Cheers!
yes. and by having a direct link via a clickable button, it saves the sharer a mess of time and makes sure they get the link right. It’s a win-win.
your blog is truly inspirational, i love all your recipes!

Dear Celine, I really love your Site and all the great Pics. Most of all I love the Glasses of your Smoothies, is there any possibility to get them anywhere? I would really love to get some for my smoothies π Thanks a lot for any Information, sending hot summer greets from Munich/Germany, Nika π
Hi Nika!
The glasses are called ball jars (or mason jars) and they are primarily used for canning. you could find them at any gardening supply place or grocery store in the summer months or check amazon.com! I found ones with handles on amazon and they’re really cute. They come in lots of different sizes too.

Dear Celine, thank you very much for your fast answer, Im trying to get those glasses in germany now, thank you very much for your Tip, greets π
[…] Celineeatsavocatos.com is a great place on the web when you are hunting (pun not really intended) the perfect recipe inspiration. Her food pictures are colourful gorgeous and her dishesΒ are full of wonderful fresh, and sometimes unsuspecting, ingredients. […]
I stumble across loads of blogs and I follow some that interest me a little. Your blog however makes me a little bit excited. From your background artwork to the beautiful food and simple words above – I love what you’re doing. I can’t wait to see more.
I’ve just started my blog recently and am getting some rhythm now. I am not sure what I am blogging for, I just enjoy documenting and photographing some of the beautiful simple food from my world. Have a look if you get time, I’d love to get your views.

I have been following on Instagram for awhile and just checked out your blog. Love your recipes! -Kristen
Thanks!! π
Hey Celine! I LOVE your blog and Instagram. I actually live in patchogue, so just on the other side of the island. Where do you buy your sushi products?
Thanks! -lauren
Hi Lauren! I was just in Patchogue today!! So funny. I was volunteering at NYBC βΊοΈ the pitbull rescue place. Sooo for sushi, all I really have is a huge bag of sushi rice from Amazon (medium grain – brand Nishiki), good quality raw nori (I posted the link for SeaSnax above) and a bamboo mat which you can find at any Asian grocery store. A nice, sharp filleting knife is awesome to have but a serrated one works well also.
