We went strawberry picking at Harlow’s. So amazing. It was a perfect day for picking, berries were ripe, a nice breeze and mid 80’s. Lovely. It was so cute to see my mini sitting in the field eating the strawberries right from the plants. I’m glad I live in a time that we have digital cameras and the technology that lets us save so many moments permanently. I love looking at all my parents picture albums from when I was young. I’m sure my kids are going to enjoy it as well.
I have so many strawberries now, I’m googling recipes because they’re definitely not all going to stay fresh for more than a week in this heat. I think I’m going to make a tart and a trifle and then maybe make the leftovers into jam…? We’ll see. Either way they’ll be delish.
