We went to this spot called Timber Crib Dam yesterday with our friends. It was beautiful! It’s an old historic dam pretty close to my house that we’ve never been to before. I found this great website –

It’s been providing us with endless things to do in this hot weather. There’s just no way of knowing about all these hidden places unless somebody takes you there. This kind of spoils the secrecy of it but it’s not like people are climbing over each other to go swimming on a Tuesday morning, especially in Vermont. It’s amazing that I’ve driven by these roads for years but never knew that there were such beautiful little swimming holes all over. Even the people I know that have lived in new england their whole lives didn’t know about all these places.
