Why do people feel the need to be rude to one and other? I commented on a photo that someone posted in a PUBLIC forum. The photo was of the woman’s salad at a restaurant. The outer rim of the plate was brushed with a red substance. I cringed at the sight of it because that is a very novice and looked down upon technique. Everything that a chef wants you to taste should be IN the area of the plate, not brushed lazily on the outside. It’s a pretty common thing that I see criticized by professional chefs. I remarked at how it was a bad plating choice and the photo taker had to make sure that it was known that she did not value my opinion in the least. Also made sure to insult me in ways that in sure she thought were out of my realm of vocabulary. I’m not sorry for giving a harmless critique on something that was posted with hash tags for the world to see. Don’t post shit if you can’t accept comments. Geez. End rant!
