So many beautiful organic berries today at the market, I couldn’t resist.
I’m going to make berry oat crumble bars for Easter but I’m still working on the recipe. Needs more crunch in the crust. Trying to add pecans or walnuts in different ratios to get that perfect nutty crunch to soft berry combination.
I am beyond happy to finally see my tulips, daffodils and lilies making an appearance! We got a shit ton of snow this winter but it’s been warm enough to start melting this past week.
I also bought this lavender plant from the market because I’ve been wanting to make lavender lemonade but I want
a mix of fresh and dried lavender.
So instead of lavender lemonade, today I made strawberry lemonade, with my abundance of berries and all.
A cup of strawberries, a chunk of pineapple, 1 small apple and 1 lemon (cut in half) = love in a glass.
It finally feels like spring!
