At the fair!
I heard part of a really great speech this morning on the Stephanie Miller show. I’ve been listening to her show for about 4 years, I love it. It’s really insightful. Anyway the speech was about what Mitt douche Romney said about gay marriage. Apparently Romney said that every child deserves to have a mom and dad. The speaker said that it shouldn’t be about a “mom and dad” but more about having a family. Whether that family be comprised of two men or one man and one woman. Or a single mom. I totally agree. Would you rather have a mom and dad that were abusive to each other just for the sake of having a mom and dad or would you rather just have a single mom that loved you and respected herself? It shouldn’t be about gender. Gender is not important. I can’t help but think that people who aren’t tolerant of different sexualities are in some way ignorant. I’m not saying that they’re outright stupid but to close your mind in that way makes you seem a little dull.
