Something I’ve always found strange is the notion that you should be married before you live with somebody. I actually think this is why a lot of marriages end in divorce. How could you possibly try and build a relationship without ever living with a person? How would you learn their quirks and habits, likes and dislikes? What if they are a totally different person behind closed doors? I think you absolutely should live with a person before making a decision like marriage. It’s like hiring somebody for a job without giving them an interview. Or signing a pitcher to your baseball team without scouting them first. Kind of senseless in my opinion.
