I honestly can’t remember a Thanksgiving that I wasn’t 99% full by the time the turkey (and extras) were on the table and ready to eat. For me, these kind of food based holidays are more about cooking and tasting and testing and sneaking little bites here and there than it is about sitting down and pigging out.
So for the occasion of Hanukkah beginning & Thanksgiving falling on the same day I decided to make my fellow Vermonter friends latkes for my special holiday treat.
So. Good. Like forget about it. I ate about 8 before I was even done cooking them all.
